How it works

SKID SAFE is a treatment, not a mat and not a stick-on tread. You apply it to the surface itself, and once it dries it is invisible. The floor keeps its look and gains grip when wet.

The three steps

The same basic method covers the system, the kits, and the pails. Always follow the directions packed with your product.

Clean

Wash the surface thoroughly and let it dry. Dirt, soap film, and grease stop any treatment from bonding, so this step decides the result.

Apply

Apply SKID SAFE evenly across the area, following the coverage and timing directions for your product and surface.

Let it dry

Allow the full drying time before use. When dry, the treatment is invisible and the surface is ready, gripping when it gets wet.

The No-Slip System, for whole floors

For floors, pool decks, entrances, and commercial areas, the SKID SAFE No-Slip System is the full treatment.

Prepare. Clean the floor with the recommended surface preparation so it is free of grease and residue.
Treat. Apply the system across the full area in even passes, working to the directions for your surface type.
Dry and use. Once dry, the floor is back in service, invisible treatment in place, covered for up to 5 years.

The kits, for tubs and showers

The Bathtub Kit and Shower Tile Kit are sized for one bathroom job, with everything measured for the area.

Bathtub Kit. For bathtubs and acrylic showers. 8 fl oz covers 2 applications.
Shower Tile Kit. Sized for tiled shower floors, where soap and water meet smooth tile.
Same three steps. Clean, apply, let it dry. The finish is invisible, so the bathroom looks unchanged.
Coverage. Kits carry coverage for up to 2 years when applied as directed.
